Hi Alexey, may be a good idea to buy a Fazer here (I'm asking myself how much they could ask for a new brand one ther ...), nevertheless did you think how much it may cost bringing the bike to Russia ?
Come on, tell us something of you: how did you land here, where do you live exactly, something about your bike experience, why just a Fazer, your age etc. ;-)
Ciao Alexey welcome :-D
Why dont you rent a van so you can take 3 bikes to Russia , its just an idea...
Probably motorbikes are less expensive in Italy but also a look in Luxemburg, you never know :-D

Thanks for advice about Luxemburg..Renting van is a good idea too,I thought about it,but our stupid government and customs are very greedy,I have to pay half the cost of the bike for customs duty:-x ...so I decided to try to bring the one bike for me first:-D
Guys....explain me please...why bikes in Sicily more cheap than in other Italy ?
In the sense that you have to bribe them?
Tell me pleasе anybody...how can I get temporary plate, and where can I do it ? I understand,I can't go without plate, but I'm not resident....Sorry for stupid question ))
Hi there,
I have no clue on how it works with plates over here. I suggest though you have a look in Germany because in my opinion it might be a lot easier for your paperwork. Our burocracy is really crazy, for sure the german one is much easier to deal with.
For sure they have temporary plates ;)
And can I get plates in Germany for bike that I have bought in Italy ?
Hi again :-D Is there anyone from Torino ? Could you help me a little ?
welcome

Does anyone know Italian law about export of bikes ? I can't understand some simple things ... Month ago I've bought the bike in one of the shops near Torino and I planned to take it by van later, the managers asked me to report them the day when I'll arrive, so they need some days to prepare documents for export of bike. But now I decided to take it myself and go home by bike and send them mail about it. I wanted to order "targa di cartone" and insurance from this website http://www.autotranzit.it/ ,but sellers said me,that I cant do it,because they've noticed at docs about carriage of bike by van and can't change it now .What's the difference between a trip home by the bike and transport bike in the van by the same road ? Why will I break the law if I go home by bike ? Maybe I haven't understood them, because they don't speak English ? :-(
Hi Alexey, I'm not an expert in the 2nd hand vehicles import/export field, but I advise you to take a look here (obviously using a translating service on the internet):
http://www.aci.it/i-servizi/guide-ut...ortazione.html
Your condition is described as "Extra UE".
Keep in mind that some of the procedures described above could be done by the shop's employees.
Moreover, consider to keep in contact with the Russian consulate in Italy for every clarifications you will need. Look here: http://www.rusconsroma.com/article.s...o/it-territory .
Good luck ;)
If you obtain a "certificato di radiazione" you cannot do anything with your non-plated vehicle in Italy. Also, if you own the bike (if you can prove you bought it) you can take it home as you like.

Sorry,it was a joke. I'm really not troll and it's not funny for me. I only try to solve the problem.
Hi guys ! It's time to visit Russia and buy bike here. Rouble is falling and prices in euro became very sweet. New FZ-8 ABS costs 5300 euro , FZ-1S 6100 euro (without VAT). Great chance to save some money ;-)
Avete letto bene?
Andiamo tutti in Russia?
Thanks a lot for the info's!
;-)
Hi Alex, happy to see you here too.
Beppe
Exactly the same situation with the car prices now here. As example new BMW 116 costs 16800 euro .:-)
e si poi però cosa ti ricaricano portandole in italia da zona extra UE
per non parlare delle omologazioni, sono "intercambiabili"?
già importando dall'america è un casino con le auto che ci devi cambiare un sacco di cose non omologate in italy
I don't know italian laws about it , but cars and bikes from EU satisfy russian standarts , I think it's similar.
May be anybody know how long time is valid Italian "targha di cartone" ? I plan to go to Italy in summer for holiday and buy used bike . Can I ride on it for two weeks in Italy and then go to home , if I'll buy the insurance for this time ?
I know that in Italy we finished to use it ten years ago.
Now the cars (or the bikes) leave the selling shop with the normal tag.
;-)
And if you don't have a international drive license you can not drive a bike whit italian plate
