A parte il fatto che la corte suprema degli usa non comanda il mondo, credo che comunque la sentenza sia un tantino impugnabile dal punto di vista giuridico o legislativo:

è come dire che le società che producono armi sono imputabili di omicidio se qualcuno usa le armi per uccidere.

è come dire che la ditta sho-gun è responsabile per gli eventuali omicidi commessi usando i propri prodotti.

è come dire che le case automobilistiche sono responsabili per le stragi del sabato sera.

anch'io! Ma è il principio che è sbagliato.

Io sono convinto che la lobby sui diritti d'autore persegua una politica sbagliata e destinata al fallimento, in ogni caso la corte si è espressa sui produttori di software e non sull'uso che uno ne fa... è una cosa ridicola... e come vietare di avere idee...

Il discorso è che bisognerebbe vigilare, altrimenti cosa facciamo?

E' un problema che va affrontato in modo radicalmente diverso... i brevetti commerciali sulle idee e sui prodotti dell'intelletto alla lunga non funzionano se non sono equi...
Loro invece hanno preteso di tener duro e di mungere la vacca fino all'ultimo cent, adesso comincia ad essere troppo tardi, è il caso di dire che "i buoi sono scappati"...

A loro piacerebbe molto poterlo fare, ecco perchè la pressione per i brevetti software in UE.

GPL: esempio di come si possa conciliare il business, i diritti d'autore, e la libertà di ideare e scambiare idee. Alcune aziende lo hanno capito altre no.
